Parent Council

 

St. Mark's Parent Council was established in September 2007, with the following objectives:

1. To work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school that is inclusive for all parents.
2.To promote partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents.
3. To develop and engage in activities that support the education and welfare of the pupils.
4. To identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
5. To support the school to foster good links and relationships with the local community.
6. To campaign on any issue affecting the welfare and education of the pupils.

PTA

 

St. Mark's School has an active Parent-Teacher Association. The aims of the enthusiastic and supportive Association are:

(1) To be a means of contact between teachers, parents and parish.
(2) To promote general interest in the school.
(3) To encourage a deeper interest in the education of the children.
(4) To raise funds to provide the needs and requirements of the school
not normally provided by the Education Authority.
